Every year millions of dollars worth of money, stocks, bonds, and hard assets go unclaimed and get delivered to the state for safekeeping until a rightful heir shows up to claim the unclaimed assets.
This happens because people simply are not aware that their loved ones have left behind some money.
Fortunately, it is relatively easy to search the government databases to see if you or any of your loved ones have left behind assets waiting to be claimed.
