WPTZ in Vermont produced a 2 minute news clip on how residents in Vermont can go about searching to see if they're owed any money.

On average people in Vermont who have unclaimed assets are owed a few hundred dollars, but one individual (at the time of the story) had over $1 million of unclaimed & missing moneys owed them.

But it's not just individuals---businesses may also be owed money... And the video highlights a local power company that gets around a dozen checks per year.
