Georgia's Unclaimed Funds department collects unclaimed cash, wages, money orders, safety deposit boxes and other assets. If a firm can't locate you to return your assets, eventually it may end up in the state of Georgia.
If you want to collect what is rightfully yours, the state treasurer makes it easy for you to do an online search for your unclaimed assets.
